0Visiting Legoland Windsor with toddler
Since we’re running an amazing competition where you can win a family prize at London Designer Outlet with tickets to the new LEGO Movie, I thought it was about time I wrote about Legoland Windsor too.
Daddy T and I had been dying to go for years, so when Baby Girl was 16 months we took her to this fun place, which is close to London.
We went for the Father Christmas experience when not all the rides were open, and it was not too busy. I figured it would be nice for Baby Girl to go to the Christmas Grotto even if she was a bit too little for most of the rides, and it was a fun thing to do as a family.
I’m sure Baby Girl will be even more excited about going to Legoland when she’s a little bit older, but even now she loved the playground, located outside the hotel, and she was excited about going on the Hill Train and seeing the large Lego characters. She generally loves being around other children too, and Legoland is pretty perfect for that!
We were also quite impressed with the child-friendly lunch buffet in the super child-friendly Bricks family restaurant, which is located in the hotel but open to park visitors. Baby Girl liked her fish fingers, vegetables, fruit and juice and I was really impressed with the restaurant’s giant Lego figures and decorations. We needed a break after the excitement of meeting a Christmas Elf who gave Baby Girl her first box of Duplo.
Great day out for the family!
Legoland Windsor reopens in mid-March, and you can book tickets online now for visits this season.
