4Decorating baby’s nursery with wall stickers
Being a mum has taught me something very important. It’s taught me that there’s no need to get paint and wallpaper to decorate plain walls. It’s just a case of buying a few stickers.
I think all children’s interior shops I’ve visited online or in person have stocked wall stickers, something I hadn’t even heard of a year ago.
In fact, I spent an awful lot of time trying to convince Daddy T that we should paint the nursery before Baby Girl’s arrival. He was having none of it though. Even after I’d had a handyman over to give us a quote on painting the room Daddy T refused, claiming he preferred the walls to be white.
After Baby Girl was born, I didn’t want to paint anything either. I was too concerned about the smell in the house and potential toxins. Even wallpaper sounded a bit daring.
But Baby Girl is not to worry. I’m about to fix her room with safe and easily removable decorations. It will be all stars for my little star – several sticker sheets with stars in different sizes by Lilipinso from My Little Square. And this time we’re not involving Daddy T in any sort of room design decision-making.
We have flower fairies ( stickers!) flying over the head of my daughters bed- she loves them! And we transformed plain painted white built in cupboards in our toddlers room with sweet little butterfly stickers. Great thing is they are easy to remove to change the theme! X
Great idea to decorate plain cupboards with wall stickers too, Vicki. I really wish I’d known about the vast selection of stickers before Baby Girl was born, so that I could have had the nursery ready without stressing about paint or wallpaper. Stickers are exactly what we need to make it feel more homely! x
Great post! I´m also a big fan of wall stickers for home decoration.

Thank you!
Thank you for the link, Paula! I’m almost done with my daughter’s room now, and I’m so pleased with the outcome. Wall stickers have saved the room 🙂
