0Washing baby clothes
When Daddy T told me our electricity bill had doubled since Baby Girl was born I thought it must be the coffee machine. I’m using it a lot.
But it’s not just the coffee machine that I’m using more than I did two months ago. In fact, there’s probably something else affecting the electricity bill. It’s the washing machine.
It sometimes feels like I have started a new career running a laundry business. I’m constantly washing clothes, muslins, cloths and blankets. There’s not one day when I don’t use the washing machine – but my own clothes are still never clean.
Baby Girl is the priority. The problem is that her little outfits somehow turn into massive piles of laundry. She has her own laundry basket, and it’s almost always full.
I’m just dreading what it will be like when her clothes are bigger. Or even worse – if anyone buys Baby Girl clothes for Christmas that don’t fit her colour scheme.
I guess I can’t complain yet. At least what I’m dealing with is easy. It’s all pink for Baby Girl.
