4 places for a weekend family brunch in Fulham

St Clements
Earlier today I was browsing through the all-day brunch menu at St Clements (see picture above) on New King’s Road, and it continues to be one of my favourite places to go on a sunny spring day. The relaxed and chic café boasts large windows, a street-side terrace and wide, rustic floor boards. There’s a refreshingly different brunch menu, including egg dishes with a twist and healthy options. There are high chairs for little ones and changing facilities downstairs. I also like the take-away babyccinos, which look very much like the real thing–just a mini version of my latte–and the children’s cookies in different shapes are a sure hit with little ones.

Hally’s
Parsons Green restaurant Hally’s has a cool and relaxed atmosphere, and it opens at 8am every day, including Sundays. With white-painted brick walls and spots of colour such as yellow Tolix bar chairs, Hally’s reminds me of some of the places we visited last time we were in California and there’s an all-day brunch menu on weekends with classics as well as unique California-inspired dishes. The only challenge can be the queue outside if we don’t get out early enough, and I’ve found it risky to arrange to meet up with other families for weekend brunch at Hally’s since tables are snapped up fast.

The Imperial Arms
After reviewing gastro pub The Imperial Arms on New King’s Road following its refurbishment in winter, we’ve been back for weekend brunch and enjoyed relaxing in the welcoming bar area, playing card games with the children. The cool pub has gone from rustic to chic, and is now boasting a sleek white mosaic-tiled bar by the entrance. The new menu celebrates British seasonal produce, and the staff have made us feel like this is the place we want to come more often.

Megan’s by the Green
We were very excited when Megan’s by the Green opened near Parsons Green tube station in October, and we’ve been for brunch–or a brownie–a number of times. The brunch menu featuring a mix of traditional dishes and healthy options is conveniently served until 4pm, and the buzzing restaurant was a winner last time we went out for a family brunch and secured the cozy table at the back. A welcome addition to Parsons Green!
