0Welcome to the new Mummy in the City site!
If friends have seen me on a window seat in Daylesford Organic on Pimlico Road recently staring at web designs or outside pushing a buggy full of props, it’s all because of this. I wanted to give Mummy in the City a face lift, and I’ve been extremely lucky to have worked with some brilliant people on the project.
I came across Infobahn, a UK-based web design company, via Babysitters of Kensington and Chelsea and after meeting up with one of the founders in Daylesford, I decided to work with Infobahn to customise a WordPress theme. Installing a theme when starting a blog is straightforward, but I found my requirements had become very specific now and it was great for me to work with Infobahn.
For the header, I wanted to have a photo and was thrilled when Julia Boggio, who recently took our family photos at family club Purple Dragon, invited me to Boggio Studios in Wimbledon to create something fun for the site. I turned up at the studio (read more about the photo shoot later in the week) with a buggy full of props and Baby Girl in tow on her scooter.
And this is the result. Welcome to the new Mummy in the City!
