What not to wear in a sandpit
I have a feeling I might have misjudged what type of clothes Baby Girl needs in the coming year. On Sunday, she was in a sandpit dressed in a light pink dress and white shoes. I tried placing her on the edge, but it didn’t take many seconds before she was a complete mess with sand everywhere from her forehead to her legs.
Even I can admit that she looked a tad out of place in a dress in the sandpit. And I’m not sure the clothes I’ve bought for her for the autumn are any better. I certainly didn’t have sand play in mind when getting her a light pink cashmere cardigan from Sue Hill, a light grey blouse with matching trousers from Tartine et Chocolat, and a yellow track suit from Ralph Lauren.
I guess we’ll either have to invest in a large tub of Vanish, or Daddy T will have to accept that Baby Girl needs to go shopping for a whole new sand play wardrobe. Tough choice.
