1What to expect at baby swimming
When Baby Girl first started taking swimming classes at Purple Dragon at the age of four and a half months, I wasn’t too sure about it. But when I saw her in the water yesterday I was so impressed with my little one.
The four babies in her Swimming Rocks class were about to finish their lesson, and the instructor and parents were singing a weekly goodbye song to each baby. Baby Girl and the other little girl in her group were sung to first, learning that it was always “ladies first”.
I’m sold. Baby Girl and Daddy T definitely need to continue taking swimming lessons. She didn’t only look adorable in the water, wearing the required Happy Nappy swimsuit (pictured) over the swimming nappy, but she’s clearly also picking up very valuable life-lessons in her classes.
My little “lady”, who is now even happy going under water, was all smiles. She likes being first. And after taking swimming lessons, she knows she can rest assured that this is what life will always be like.
Oh the dotted swimming suits are so adorable! I would like my little ones to attend these classes just so they can wear them! 😉 (unfortunately they are “all grown-up” now – 5 and 7 years old :))
