0What to expect when flying with toddler
– ‘I know this is the type of thing you love’
– ‘Who? Me? I’m fine with this’
I was sitting next to Daddy T and Baby Girl on a flight back to London giggling, while Daddy T was attempting to take charge of some mid-air risk mitigation procedures–lying flat across the seats, holding on to one of Baby Girl’s feet while she was trying out her climbing skills on the seat backs.
The passengers on the row behind us appeared to have stopped their conversation to watch the action on our row, and I was busy holding on to the tea I had somehow thought I could enjoy now that Baby Girl had her own seat next to Daddy T.
Flying with 2-year old Baby Girl always teaches us something new.
Now we know we might be able to entertain her with the iPad, a sticker book, a storybook, or her Minnie Mouse Bow-tique collection, but it seems practically impossible to avoid a bit of climbing and someone on our row shouting ‘out, out’ when the seat belt signs are off and we’re nowhere near the ground.
