What to wear after giving birth
When Grandma N first came to visit last year, she went straight out to buy me new clothes that would cover a bloated tummy. The family joke was that perhaps I had been pregnant with twins, and that the consultant had forgotten to take out the second one. I’ve had better days.
But Kate doesn’t seem to have had the same issue. It looks like she’s glowing. I would have struggled to know what type of dresses would suit post giving birth, and I was very impressed with how stylish Kate looked when leaving the hospital.
If I have another baby, I’ll certainly tell Daddy T that it’s not just the newborn who needs a going home outfit. Mummy needs one too–and it doesn’t hurt if it’s a Jenny Packham piece.
