0The joy of babbling with baby
Every weekday I send Daddy T an email to let him know what Baby Girl and I are up to while he’s at work. In the one from yesterday I wrote: “bbbbbbbbbbuuh ppppppppuuuh bbbbbbbbbbbbbbuuuuh pppuh bbbbbbbbuuuh pppppppuh xxx.”
He had no problem decoding it. It’s how we talk in our little family these days, and as it turns out, our new way of communicating works even better in email.
There’s no risk of spitting at each other in writing. In person, pronouncing too many b’s and p’s can often get messy.
But six-month old Baby Girl doesn’t’ seem to mind us spitting at each other though. She’s the one who’s taught us the new language, and she tends to have a big smile on her face when the three of us are chatting away.
All that family gossip is just too funny for words.
