0When baby likes chewing on necklaces
Yesterday Baby Girl was asked if her mummy was wearing “a chew toy” around her neck. That’s not usually how I describe my favourite Erickson Beamon necklace, but if Baby Girl had been able to answer, I think I know what she would have said.
I was carrying her and she was pulling on my necklace with both hands and chewing on the shiny, pink stone despite me trying to pull her off.
It’s the same every time I wear a necklace. She wants it. At first her look will be glued to the piece. She will then feel the texture and a few moments later she decides she wants a taste of it.
But I refuse to buy teething jewellery. It’s not for me. I like my accessories. The only change I’ve made is that I no longer wear long necklaces. They simply don’t work when I’m carrying Baby Girl.
Bling is tempting. Bling that is within easy reach is beyond tempting.
