0When baby loves building blocks
I’m not sure Baby Girl realises how much she’s gained from spending a total of two and a half hours of her life in a crèche. But if she’d known, I’m sure she would have been more than happy to say it was well worth the time. The crèche experiences has resulted in several new toy investments.
I was told that she had loved playing with Mega Bloks in the crèche. The next week we had a Mega Bloks foldable table and a bag of building blocks with stickers, a little car and a little figure. The week after we also had a box with 80 more classic blocks.
It turns out Baby Girl isn’t the only one who loves these building blocks. Daddy T and I love them too. I was the one who spent an hour on the floor yesterday building a dog and a sailboat while Baby Girl had a taste of a red brick and destroyed a tower.
Mega Bloks is similar to Duplo and Lego, but the pieces are giant-sized and ideal for toddlers who put objects in their mouth. The boxes we’ve bought are for children aged one to five–and obviously for big children in their early thirties.
