When baby prefers sleeping in a lap
I’ve never felt I’ve needed a baby monitor with a camera function, but on Friday I would have happily taken a picture of what was on screen.
Daddy T had gone to calm down an upset Baby Boy, suggesting he could burp him, but when I looked on the parent unit the two of them were simply lying next to each other and Baby Boy looked very peaceful.
He often frets and seems to have trapped air, but that air magically disappears if he gets to lie right next to one of us or in our laps.
If he has had a bit of colic in the past couple of weeks, he certainly doesn’t have it anymore if he gets to sleep in his favourite place – in mummy’s or daddy’s arms.
Just perfect.
