When baby stops crying when being dropped off at nursery

Nursery drawstring bagThe first 22 times there were tears. Then there were two times without. And then they were back. This is how it is to drop a toddler off at nursery.

But Baby Girl and I are onto something now. So far she’s been to nursery 26 times, and she smiled and shrieked with excitement when we approached the building on her first day back after half-term.

I said ‘bye bye’ and ‘mummy will be back to pick you up later’, and that was it. She was off and super excited about seeing a table with puzzles.

I was super excited too. In fact, I even had to text Daddy T to share the great news. Her being so happy made me feel so good about the decision to send my 14-month old to nursery three half-days a week.

Keep up the good work, Baby Girl.
