When the London weekend is all about dad
‘Where does Mummy live?’
‘London!’
‘Where does Daddy live?’
‘In the office!’
This winter when Baby Girl was two and a half-years-old it was clear she knew her geography. She knew we lived in London, and she could sing a song about all the different continents in the world. It’s just a bit confusing to a little one that Daddy T isn’t usually around a lot on weekdays.
Instead, he has to make up for it on weekends. There’s swimming, weekend brunches, scooter trips, playing with Duplo and Play-Doh, and sometimes tennis in the garden.
Weekends are all about family time–proving that we actually do all live in London.
