0When toddler starts to scoot
I’ve been meaning to start exercising now that it’s a new year. The problem is that I sometimes feel it may not be necessary to do an hour in the gym.
I usually have a pretty intense start to the day.
Eighteen-month old Baby Boy has completed his very first two weeks on the scooter. He’s become a true mini Londoner, balancing on the scooter and pushing along now and then.
In the process I’ve been getting some excellent exercise. I now start the day by jogging a mile pushing him on the scooter.
Four-year-old Big Girl still doesn’t think it looks hard though. She keeps commenting that since I have one hand free I should be more than capable of pushing her as well–ideally at top speed.
I turn up to school and nursery feeling like I’ve been to the gym already–albeit I don’t think the back would hurt as much if I’d simply done the 6.30am spinning classes I used to love a decade ago.
