Who to invite to first birthday parties
Daddy T and I have a new favourite activity. It’s going to children’s birthday parties with Baby Girl. The fact that Baby Girl has made so many friends in her first year is really starting to pay off for her–and for us. Baby Girl is being invited to lots of birthday parties, and she’s now practically in charge of ensuring we all have a busy social schedule.
First birthdays are not only fun for little ones. It’s the perfect opportunity for parents to get to taste a piece of an impressive-looking cake, catch up with friends with young children, and meet others with children around the same age.
We didn’t celebrate my 30th birthday, but there’s no way we’re missing an opportunity to celebrate Baby Girl’s first birthday. She’s having a party with around ten babies, six who are born in the same month as her. The big event is taking place on a Saturday afternoon and grandparents and godparents are also invited. It’s all very exciting.
