0Why baby loves her new shopping bag
Baby Girl and I couldn’t have had a better time at The Baby Show last week. We both came home with filled shopping bags. Hers was filled with five bananas, grapes, tomato, carrot, peas and two eggs, and the actual bag was singing that ‘shopping was fun’.
I couldn’t agree more. And I don’t think she could either.
We had been to a Fisher-Price blogger lunch, and out of all the toys on offer, she had picked out the Laugh & Learn Sing n’ Learn Shopping Bag and taken it for a trip around the room. She was one proud little girl carrying that bag.
When we received our goody bags at the end, the lovely lady from Fisher-Price ensured 14-month Baby Girl received a brand new Sing n’ Learn Shopping Bag to take home with her.
As a result, Baby Girl is now walking around with a colourful singing shopping bag every day. She is very into chewing on the vegetables, which seem to double as a teething ring, and I’m very into pressing the button on her bag enough times to get back to the ‘shopping is fun’ song.
The other ‘shopping bag’ songs about colours, counting and recycling will have to wait. According to research by Childwise, commissioned by Fisher-Price, and released at the show, half of mums say the most important factor when choosing toys is that they are fun.
And with Baby Girl’s new Fisher-Price shopping bag and the shopping song, that’s exactly what we’re having.
The Laugh & Learn Sing’ n’ Learn Shopping Bag is aimed at children from 6-36 months, and it retails at around £15
