Why it makes sense to buy a baby beach tent

I’m not sure why I haven’t bought one of these before. Baby tents are the best. I was worried 10-month old Baby Girl had grown out of her beach tent before we removed the tags yesterday, but as soon as I opened it I realised I certainly hadn’t grown out of this one.

My Goyard bag and sensitive skin were more than happy to have a little tent to escape to.

In fact, Baby Girl just gives me the perfect excuse to carry a beach tent around.

She got to use it for a nappy change, a feed and a rice cake break, but she’s also fine spending time on the beach outside her tent, as she’s covered in a long-sleeved UV 50+ suit and hat when she’s in the sun.

I’m still waiting for my favourite beachwear brands Mara Hoffman and Heidi Klein to tap into the adult-size UV suit market, so I’m the one who’s really in need of the sun safety tent for now.
