0Why it makes sense to buy a toilet trainer seat for potty training
The other week I was pretty pleased with myself. I managed to fit a toilet trainer seat to our toilet seat without even reading the instructions, and I felt we were now fully prepared for potty training.
I had received the BabyBjorn toilet trainer seat as a sample to try, and it was super easy to attach to the toilet. It had seemed like the last thing we were missing before really getting started on the potty training mission.
I hadn’t actually realised we needed one of these from the start. I had thought it was only the potty we needed, but after reading the Gina Ford book on potty training and speaking to friends, I had understood it could be useful to have the seat too.
The issue appears to be that some simply prefer the seat. Perhaps it is seen as being more grown-up, and from a parent’s perspective, it actually seems super practical if the toilet trainer seat is the preferred choice.
The one from BabyBjorn would be easy to carry around and to quickly take on and off a toilet seat. I also like that it is white with a functional design.
With the help of the BabyBjorn step stool, it’s easy for little ones to climb up on the toilet and sit down on their own stable and comfortable seat to be all grown-up.
Bring on potty training!
