0Win collection of Fruit Heroes children’s snacks
‘It tastes of chocolate!’
I’m not sure exactly how Baby Girl managed to get raspberries and apple to taste like chocolate, but since this was her first comment when tasting a Fruit Heroes fruit bar I took it as a sign she liked it.
We had received Fruit Heroes to try to review as the Danish snacks, which are made from natural ingredients and are naturally high in fibre, are new to the UK market, and after reading about them I liked the idea of practical fruit snacks with no added sugar, colourings, preservatives, sulphur dioxide, gluten or diary.
I always try to bring snack boxes with fresh fruit and vegetables when I know we’ll need a snack, but I also always keep a stock of pre-packed snacks, which is ideal for travelling – and for days I’ve been stuck in traffic on King’s Road and not even had time to think before picking up a hungry Baby Girl from nursery.
For these days, Fruit Heroes have become popular, and when I gave one to a friend on the playground in need of children’s snacks for her toddler, her little boy loved it too.
Sometimes mums simply need to magically bring out something yummy to lift the mood, and that’s why I’m excited to be able to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a box of each of the four Fruit Heroes flavours now available in UK shops.
To be in with a chance of winning four boxes of Fruit Heroes, please email your name and address to info@mummyinthecity.com with the subject line ‘Fruit Heroes’.
Fruit Heroes are available from Tesco, Holland & Barrett, Tree of Life, One Stop, Amazon and selected health stores The bars are also suitable for baking, but we’re yet to start experimenting with that. The competition is open to UK residents, and the winner will be selected at random from all entries received by midnight on 27 June 2015. The winner will receive four Fruit Heroes five-bar boxes. There is no cash alternative.
