Win a £50 shopping spree at kids interior design boutique Ivy Cabin

Moby cushionWhen we started redecorating our house almost two years ago now I knew I wanted a second baby, but I didn’t want to jinx it by thinking about a potential nursery for a future newborn.

This is the reason the most obvious bedroom for Baby Boy features raspberry-colour painted walls, pink cushions and a roman blind in a romantic patterned fabric. It’s my idea of a creative and inspiring study.
Baby Boy will have to make do with the guest bedroom, and with the help of white Bloom nursery furniture and some fun accessories it will soon look like a welcoming room for a little one. That’s why I was excited to receive the Oyoy whale Moby cushion (£35) from online children’s design boutique Ivy Cabin, ideal for style-conscious parents upgrading children’s bedrooms.

Flag_boy_mediumSeagrass basketThe sweet and soft Moby cushion by Danish designer brand Oyoy is just one of many quirky, animal-shaped cushions in the collection, and there’s also adorable table lamps and night lights that would be spot on for turning a basic bedroom into a kids bedroom.

For Baby Boy’s room, I could also see other room accessories from Ivy Cabin working well, such as the Cam Cam String of Flags (£19), being ideal for adding subtle colours, and the natural seagrass baskets (£25) for storing toy cars
