Win tickets to see We’re Going on a Bear Hunt live on stage

In recent months, I’ve been reading up on what’s going to be on stage in London theatres for kids this year, and one of the productions I’m excited about is the stage adaptation of children’s classic We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.

Michael Rosen’s award-winning book We’re Going on a Bear Hunt will be brought vividly and noisily to the stage in director Sally Cookson’s fun-filled adaptation set to Benji Bower’s versatile lively score.

The show tells the story of the intrepid family and their musical dog who go on a quest to find a bear. They wade through gigantic swishy swashy grass, a splishy splashy river and thick oozy, squelchy mud. Expect catchy songs, interactive scenes and plenty of hands-on adventure in the show adapted for the stage from the modern classic written by Michael Rosen and illustrated by Helen Oxenbury.

The We’re Going on a Bear Hunt UK tour is visiting 30 theatres nationwide over spring and summer, and from 17 to 21 May the show will be playing at Rose Theatre in Kingston and from 3 August to 3 September it will be on at Cadogan Hall in Chelsea. Tickets are on sale now, and one lucky reader can win a family ticket.
