0When wool becomes summer favourites for kids
When we first arrived in Norway for a three week holiday I felt I’d made a mistake by bringing wool trousers for Baby Boy. But a few days later I couldn’t get them dried quick enough after washing, as they seemed to be the perfect trousers to wear for everything on the agenda.
Farm visits, boat trips, crab fishing–merino wool joggers from WoolLand were spot on for unpredictable summer weather with temperatures dropping below 20 degrees.
I’ve bought two pairs of blue WoolLand joggers for Baby Boy, and looking back, they’re probably the trousers he’s worn the most as they’re soft, versatile and quick-drying if he gets wet.
Wool helps regulate the body temperature, making it an ideal material for clothes for young children and I’m really grateful our friends from WoolLand in the UK, which sponsors Mummy in the City, have brought the fab Norwegian brand to the international market.
There’s no coincidence WoolLand even has a summer collection with stylish shorts, zipped hoodies and more. Wool works for the unpredictable summers we’ve come to get used too.
