0Staying on trend with WoolLand merino wool staples for mums
When I was getting ready for a kids Halloween party yesterday I considered just wearing the outfit I had on earlier in the day. I was all black, dressed in leggings and a half-zip jumper.
This has been my favourite outfit in the past few weeks since I received it from WoolLand to review. It consists of the Trollveggen pure black leggings (£79) and the Loftet pure black jumper (£79).
In fact, it’s very similar to my favourite outfit last year too, which also included stretchy, black WoolLand suede-patch leggings I received for Christmas.
The WoolLand clothes are in soft merino wool, and they’re nothing like the standard thermal underwear many associate with wool. They’re great to wear on their own and I think the warm leggings, which are pre-shrunk to ensure a good fit after many washes, are amazing for mums on the go.
I wanted the black pieces yesterday for pairing with a spooky mask and gloves, but normally I simply wear the clothes with a black coat and black trainers with a concealed heel. I think the WoolLand outfit is ideal for the school run, for hanging around waiting for a Playball class to finish, and for standing on a playground for an hour.
The merino wool means the clothes are soft, warm, quick-drying and odour-resistant, as well as being great for regulating body temperature. As a mum, I don’t always know what my day will look like when I wake up, but I know that the versatile WoolLand clothes will fit whether we’re going to Legoland, or we’re simply carving pumpkins in the garden.
I can dress them up or down depending on activity, and I like the feminine details, such as the suede patches on the Trollveggen leggings and the Norway-shaped gold zipper on the Loftet jumper. I think many London mums will agree a pair of black WoolLand leggings and matching jumper will suit their everyday needs for style, comfort and functionality.
Wool can be pretty cool!
