The Gruffalo Children’s Workshop at Royal Academy of Dance
At Royal Academy of Dance mums can celebrate Mother’s Day with their little ones in a Gruffalo children’s dance workshops delivered in partnership with Macmillan Publishers. The age-specific sessions, which involves dance, music, acting, make-up and storytelling, are aimed at children aged 2½ to 8, and mums can join in the fun too. The first sessions start at 10am and prices start from £18.50 per child.
Monkey Music Spring Spectacular in Chelsea
Music class provider Monkey Music is hosting a spring spectacular workshop with Dawn and Jayne at Cineworld in Chelsea over the Mother’s Day weekend. The Saturday sessions on 5 March are meant as special treats, with lots of mums and dads joining in the Monkey Music fun. Tea Time Design Workshop in Chelsea and Marylebone
Mums who want to take time out and do something creative can head to homeware and clothing store Anthropologie on King’s Road (12-1.30pm) or Marylebone High Street (3-4.30pm) on Sunday 6 March. Maggie from Pottery Place will be hosting a Tea Time Design Workshop, where attendees can create a personalised mug, which will be professionally glazed and available for collection a week later. Tickets, which can be booked online, are £10 per person and redeemable against purchases of £20 and over on the day of the event.
